When looking ahead in time at what the church will look like it is going to resemble how well we were able to instill God’s word into the next generation. While they are still part of today’s church and are valued members of Delray as such, they are the leaders of tomorrow’s church and need to be equipped to lead in such a way.
We focus on biblical guidance of the struggles and hurdles that today’s youth focus while not forsaking the timeless instruction and strength that God offers us all in His word. Fellowship with one another while learning how to lean on fellow believers in our time’s of struggle and being able to uplift others are all qualities that are taught, shown, and encouraged.
Our youth program begins at 6th grade and includes teens and preteens up to graduation of high school. There is service every Wednesday at 7 pm with dinner being offered to them at 6 pm. The youth group takes multiple trips yearly to youth conferences along with events that are planned just for them at the church to interact with church leaders and one another.
