Our SonShiners group is a group formed specifically to engage the people who have been fortunate enough to retire and make it to those “golden years.” We have monthly lunches where we spend time fellowshipping, playing games, and hearing God’s word.
This group is focused on serving the ones who maybe can’t get out like they used to be able to. Routine visits to local assisted living facilities, hospital visits, and visits to shut ins who are providentially hindered. Like everything we do at Delray we want you to be engaged in and be an active member of it.
With everything from singing in the choir, helping setup for lunch, making phone calls to check in on a beloved senior saint, or just showing up, eating and smiling. There is a place for you to fit into and belong to a group that wants to uplift and encourage one another.
